Beijing,China Part2

So what are the do's and the don'ts, regardless of ur eagerness, my advice and as cliche as it may sound are... 1. be as cool and calm as possible... because the choice u made will eventually determine ur happiness level for the rest of ur trip. 2. do ur own survey. Do not rely on others. My case was on which I blamed no one but myself. I let my friend to do the survey which we led to us being conned in a broad day light. So how to do ur survey - make sure u dont book via facebook but if u do make sure the agencies have official website and are registered with Malaysia/etc. Tourism or belong to any renowned tourism related brands. - not all tours are arranged by legal travel agencies. I know because this was what had happened to me. I will write about this later :'( - to be on the safe side make sure that ur selected agency carries e.g Jono** travel&tour agency and not only sdn.bhd. This is to ensure that ur selected agency is operated and specialised on travel and tours. Not random. - make sure the agency had good reviews from their clientele. - make sure it is also easy for u to google about the agency and don't get confused because sometimes small agencies tend to adopt big companies name to strengthen their brands and sell their products. - if the agency is hard to be googled then I advise u guys to run away no matter how. lucrative the offer might be unless u r willing to pay the price. But again, the choice is yours and my advice should only be regard as a guide.#sojgnkecam - it is always better to be safe than sorry.Means : it does not hurt to pay extra money for guaranted worry-free trip. So, do ur survey thoroughly and do not simply put ur deposit. Money does not grow on trees right.B-) - legal or renowned travel&tours agencies are not all expensive. U can always tailor it based on ur interests. Basically, these are among the most important steps for the 1st timer. My next entry would be on my experience in Beijing.
